Yesterday was a really fun day. We started off at LACMA mainly to see DVF, journey of a dress. As anticipated, it was beautiful and glamorous. It was nice to see that kind of showing at a place like LACMA that usually only focuses on paintings and art in that nature. Los Angeles County Museum is one of my favourites. Yes, because it’s located in LA but more so because of the collections that are both beautiful and intriguing. I will post pictures from yesterday and a few from the past.
Since Sur left such an impression on us, we decided to go back to it’s sister restaurant for some eats. It was just as good as we remembered. Julia got a salmon flatbread and I went for the grilled chicken sandwhich with a nice green salad. The waitress recommended a lychee martini and the big pinky, we ordered both and loved them !
After our gorgeous lunch we
decided to walk rodeo drive and do some shopping and lots of window shopping. I can’t imagine a life where you can buy anything and everything you want. Lucky Beverly Hills locals ! As we were walking we decided we would go to Runyon with a couple of friends. It was a good idea at the time but a horrible one later since we were planning to go out afterwards. The view was surreal, a sight I wish I had in my everyday life.
We had almost no time to get ready for our dinner reservations at Katana. Our appetite had been built up from our hike but we didn’t want to feel gross for the nights events. We got a couple sushi rolls and rock shrimp to start with a bottle of Pinot. There was a table across us who were kind enough to send a couple of drinks so that definitely helped us keep the buzz going lol they were very nice, all French men in the sports industry.
We ended up at playhouse in hollywood which is nothing like I remember It to be. Awful crowd, felt like I was going to get shot or beat up but another female so that lasted for about 40 minutes before we had had enough. We came back to our condo and there was people partying so we stopped in and had a few drinks. 3 am and it was time for bed. I don’t want to leave ever !
