Unreasonable expectations of others. You should, must , have to do anything is a call to a challenge. Many contrary people will go against their own values just to be in control.

Yes!
This is the secret of life, this is what our achievement-oriented culture so often forgets. Achievement is not bad nor is thr striving for it but it is not everything. the object of our desire won’t make us happy. happiness is now. happiness is in the desire. this s the secret of life that has eluded me almost of all mine, except those moments of coolness, nirvana, that save us. that save us from thinking things have to be different but the truth is, it’s all wonderful. wonderful, sublime, magnificent to experience, really not so bad. a privilege to have life, to feel both joy and sorrow, to experience both adversity and prosperity, to reap the harvest as well as to sow the seeds. hallelujah amen. this post is what i really wanted. namaste
That’s so true.

So very true! Living simply forms the basis of my whole blog… 🙂
So true! As I got older and now retired, I realized that I’m happy just the way I am and wouldn’t change anything about my life.
I hope to be like that one day! 🙂
Why wait?
Well isn’t that the truth!
Yep, the “me” nature is to not be content with the now. Don’t let the “me” tell you what you need to be happy 🙂
Awesome! So true too! Thanks for the reminder! 🙂
