I am to write a ten line poem, which needs to contain the word “love” and can either include my favorite love quote or lyrics at the end.
Since I am not familiar with this emotion I decided to put a little twist on it hahaha so here it goes…
Roses are red
Violets are blue
I don’t know a thing about love
Especially not with you
This is the end
I like you as nothing more than a friend
You wanted a poem but I just can’t pretend
I’m not into love
I never was
And the reason for that is…just because.
Hahaha sorry. I had to be real with it. Now I have to nominate 10 other people but I’ll cut it down hahaha I chose these writers because I’m familiar with their blogs so I’m excited to see what they come up with!

OKay… here is mine cause I want to sleep tonight & this challenge would have kept me awake…
That awful day we met online
everything in my life was going fine
I didn’t want love. I didn’t want like
I simply wanted to ride my new bike.

I was falling in love but I still denied

Here’s my 10-line love poem:
I can’t write a love poem
that’s only ten lines.
Well, I could do it
with plenty of time.
But since I’m throwing this out,
a little mind vomit, you know,
all I can do really
is to hold up for show
that love knows no confines
and can’t be held to ten lines.
And while my fave quote is missing
this is line 12 so… fuck it…
