Throw back part two

I was going through some of my stuff and found this report card from first grade. I was fresh in Canada and was just learning how to speak English haha I found it funny how a lot of me really hasn’t changed.  My strong suit is still my creativity and I’ve always been fairly good at math. I also still have some issues with my self confidence. 20 years have flown by, insane!

  1. Isn’t it fun to run across stuff like this…it does remind you that although, time and age change us, that little girl we used to be is really still there!

  2. Wow! Whoever wrote that has remarkable penmanship. 🙂

Seriously, though, while I was reading that, I felt a parallel to what you do here with your blog. You share your thoughts and opinions. Praise and encouragement is given to you (although I feel like you currently have more self-confidence than you think you do). From what I can tell, you enjoy challenges and learning new concepts. You strike me as a pleasant and caring person. Stop me if I’m sounding like an astrology reading… lol

Anyway, it must feel amazing to read something of yours from two decades ago. Makes me want to bury some stuff in a capsule and dig it up twenty years later to see what I was like. Then again, I’d probably forget where it’s buried, so never mind.

    • Haha thank you so very much 🙂 I have improved with my self confidence through my writings and my blog, kind of life changing and just what I needed. Thank you so much for your kind words. I definitely encourage doing something like that! Haha I did that with my girlfriends when we were 11 and we have yet to go back and get what we buried. You reminded me!
