Happy Easter !!!!
I can’t believe it’s already Easter. I also can’t believe it’s snowing on April 5th here in Canada. What did we do to deserve this? It definitely feels more like Christmas than Easter hahaha I also should mention that a couple of days ago it was sunny and 16 out. Things took a turn for the worst apparently. Anyway, I am here seeking some advice from all of you wise people. As you may know from past posts, I’ve mentioned it over a trillion times hahaha but I gave up bread, rice and pasta for lent. As we all know today lent ends and I am allowed to indulge again. Here’s my problem, I feel such a difference in my body and I don’t have disgusting blobby feeling after eating all of those carbs. I also have a vacation coming up in 10 days and I am on such a good track with working out and getting in better shape. Sooooo my question is, do I treat myself to the food I couldn’t have for 46 days total or do I stick to this new life style? I’m an all of nothing type of gal so once I introduce bread back into my life…game over!!!!! I have a big family dinner tonight and I honestly can not make my mind up.
Hahahah help.
Hope you’re having a blessed and lovely day with those you love most! xx
It remains the easiest activity to fall out of, but the hardest to get back to; with that said, I choose to keep a good feeling going and would continue to push hard. Now, I have not been to the gym in over a month, but I can be beach ready in a week, life guard ready in a month, and gladiator ready after that!
Hahaha im with you on this. I think I’ll stick to a good thing. Can’t hurt right?!?! I am definitely not beach ready but I am certainly in better shape than a few months ago.
That is great; keep going hard.
stick to the new lifestyle girl , stick to the new lifestyle ! after all the there will be long term benefits π
That’s definitely the way im going to go! However I just want pizza once π¦ hahaha
I’d stick to the new lifestyle! rewarding yourself atleast once a week or month wouldnt hurt! Keep it up! π
Thank you !!! π
I agree with Lauren! Treat yourself to a one-day “relaxation” of the rules. Don’t go crazy of course, but do enjoy a limited amount of those tempting goodies. 1) It’ll help satisfy the cravings so you can continue your efforts with more enthusiasm, and 2) You’ll reinforce the lesson that all things are OK in moderation.
I lost 38 pounds a couple of years back and the thing that kept me on track was a one-day/one meal per week “relaxation of the rules”.
You can do whatever you put your mind to!

Listen to your body! If you feel yucky after eating certain foods, your body is telling you something! It’s SO hard, I know, but trust your body! ππβ€οΈ
Haha It definitely tells me to stay off the bread!!! I’m going to stick to my new lifestyle π thanks hehe
If you feel better, keep it going, we really don’t “need” those things in our diets. You can get carbs from other foods that won’t make you feel lousy again. Stick with it and feel better! hope your Easter was a blessed one as well. It snowed here in Maine this morning, Easter indeed! π
You can DO it, S. Stay off of the stuff that makes you feel yucky and keep at the program. What are you going to give up next year for Lent if you’re not eating this stuff? Let me see… chocolate? Wine? hahaha
